Our highly selective herbicides target different crops, regions and market segments. We are already one of the leading companies in the cereals, corn, sugar beet and rice markets. The regions Europe and North America are our cornerstone markets for herbicides.
Two new active ingredients – mesosulfuron (Mesomaxx®, Atlantis®) and foramsulfuron (Option®, Maister®) have recently been launched and are expected to reinforce our good position in cereal herbicides and expanding position in the corn segment. For example, our excellent safener technology offers the benefits of highly selective herbicides, while, at the same time guaranteeing the safety of crops. Bayer CropScience’s diversity, innovation and expertise have earned us the trust of farmers throughout the world, and especially in our key markets in the United States, Brazil, Japan, Canada, France and Germany.
